New York Delta Giving Programs

New York Delta has three major funds:

  • Facility Renovation Fund: This fund will be used to support preliminary costs, such as architectural diagrams, as we chart the future of our aging facilities.

  • General Fund: This fund is used to support fraternity operations and to defray the cost of alumni operations which include the publication and mailing of The Fusil Oil and events such as CLAMS & Alumni Hockey.

  • Scholarship Fund: This fund will be used for scholarships for NY Delta undergraduates. This fund is managed by The Sigma Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation, a 501(c)(3) entity, and donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

    How to Donate

    By Check:

You can use the convenient postage paid address envelope included with The Fusil Oil or send your checks to:

New York Delta of Sigma Phi Epsilon
    PO Box 876
    Ithaca, NY 14851-0876

To contribute to either the general or facility renovation funds, please make your check out to The NY Delta Board of Sigma Phi Epsilon and mark Facility Renovation Fund or General Fund in the memo area.

To contribute to the Scholarship fund, please make your check payable to The Sigma Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation and mark New York Delta Fund in the memo area.

Donations to the Scholarship fund must be on a separate check for tax purposes.

    By Credit Card:

Donations to the NY Delta Scholarship Fund can also be made via credit card at:

    http://www.sigepfoundation.org/donations/.

Important: For the funds to be allocated to NY Delta, you must choose Chapter Specific Fund from the drop down list and then indicate New York Delta.

At this time, we do not accept credit cards for either the general or facility renovation funds but we are hoping to change this going forward.

    Tax Deductibility:

Donations to the scholarship fund are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law (501(c)(3)) while donations to the Facility and General Fund currently are not (there is proposed legislation in Congress that may change this).

Donations to the scholarship fund may also qualify for matching donations from employers as a 501(c)(3) entity.

For more information on these programs, please contact alumni volunteer Don Burgio '89 (don@sigepnyd.com).
