Approximately 20 alumni attended the Annual Alumni/Active Hockey game on October 28th at the Houston Field House.

Despite not having a goalie, the alumni were determined that the game must go on. With a team of 8, that meant a lot of ice time over two hours for the alumni crew with minimal substitution time. Despite their perseverence, the alumni lost by a small margin to the much younger active team.

Results of 2006 Annual Alumni Meeting

Despite the threat of rain, several dozen die hard alumni showed up for CLAMS and the Annual Alumni Board meeting and elections on Saturday, May 13th at John Boyd Thacher State Park. Brother Pat Marinucci manned the grill and the annual alumni/active softball game was held as per tradition.

During the meeting, Eddie Chin '94 noted that the Chapter had recruited 16 new members during the academic year. Eddie thanked Brian Leona '08 for spearheading that effort and noted this was the 3rd or 4th largest class on campus this year amongst all fraternities.

After discussion of other matters, Eddie called for annual elections for alumni corporation officers. There are 9 board seats. Each seat has a 3 year term and every year, 3 seats are up for re-election.

John Perez '83 resigned his post as Alumni Board Treasurer. John was thanked for his generosity and volunteer work in that post over the past 4 years.

Including John's open seat, the following alumni were elected to the board:

Vinny Acevedo '00 (new board member)
Don Burgio '89 (re-elected)
Eddie Chin '94 (re-elected)
Tom Hirsh '95 (re-elected)
