NY Delta to Hold 5K Run for Charity

The New York Delta Chapter will be holding its first major charity event in years. This event will be a five-kilometer run on Saturday, October 23, 1999 in Troy, New York.

Organized by Mike Choe '02, the run will raise money for the Jerry Luker Fund, a charitable fund created in the memory of Jerry Luker '95, who fell victim to cancer in 1996.

The run is scheduled to begin at 12 Noon at Troy City Hall, go up 1st Street, down 2nd Street, and end on Broadway Avenue. The run will officially end at 2PM.

The New York Delta Chapter hopes to raise over $1,000 for this event.
