First Boston Chapter Alumni Association Event Announced

The NY Delta Boston Chapter Alumni Association will be inaugurated with its first event on March 4, 2000 with a Boston Bruins hockey game at Boston's Fleet Center. The Boston Bruins will be playing the Philadelphia Flyers at 1:30PM. Seating will be at the Fleet Center Club Seating, offering more comfortable, theater seats and an in-seat waitstaff. The seats are located on level 5, 18 rows off the floor.

The event will also include an optional trip to the Boston Museum of Science, located just several blocks from the Fleet Center. Alumni are invited to bring their families on a trip to the museum as well. Tickets will also include a show at either the Mugar Omni Theatre or a laser light show at the Planetarium. Show times will be announced at a later date.

At the end of the day, alumni and family can spend some time touring Boston's nightlife.

Tickets for the Bruins vs. Flyers game will be $95/person for all age groups. A group discount may be available if more than 25 people participate. Tickets for the Boston Museum of Science will be $15.00 for adults and $11.00 for children 3-11 and seniors 65+, including entrance to all areas of the museum and either the Omni Theatre or the Laser Light Show. The cost does not include drinks or food during the game, or parking for either event (parking is available both at the Fleet Center and at the Museum of Science for a fee). Transportation via the MBTA on Boston's Green Line is $0.85 to $2.00, depending on where you get onto the Green Line.

This event is open to all NY Delta alumni, particularly those NY Delta alumni in the Boston area.

The NY Delta Boston Alumni Association expects to conduct two events each year.
